What are yalls opinion on using a tripod over a tree stand.
There one in the same to me. They both elevate you so you can see. On our property we have 3 elevated boxes there nice to keep the weather off of you. I guess it boils down to is there some trees where you want to put the stand or not.
Id hunt either one. But here there are plenty of trees to pick from. Although I would love to have one to stick in a overgrown field I hunt.
I am affraid of heights, plsu I'm abotu 300 #'s so I dont like limbers or stand like that. I use a tripod & then a "buddy stand" that I only have 6 feet off the ground.
Here are the pics. (there is a doe standing in front of the Buddy stand. You can barely make out her head & eyes)
