Trilene fishing line

    Has anyone used the Berkley Trilene XL Smooth Casting 20lb line.I picked up a spool of 330 yd so i can clean my reels and respool while the weather is to cold to get out.Thanks in advance..:cool2:

    I have 4lb, 6lb, 8lb, 12lb berkley Trilene xl smooth casting. It's for bass, walleye, and panfish. I using #30 and #40 berkley big game solar green for catfish.

    20 pound Trilene XL is all that I use. I keep all 4 of my 6500C-3's filled with it. It is a very good mono. I think you will like.:smile2:

    I use 17# trilene xl and have never had any problems-Its a good line

    Trilene XL is a good limp line, but it doesn't have the abrasian resistance of big game. It also will not stand up to shock impact as well as BG or XT line.I hope this helps.

    All I use on my catfish rig a 10ft med action is 17# or 20# Trilene XL I fish around parked barges and have not a problem with it.

    Even with my ultralight rig, I prefer Trilene XT to XL. Just seem to have better luck with it.
