Treble hooks!

    does anyone use them for chicken liver


    i use a 2/o baitholderbut dont like them much

    An easy way to use them is to put n a snap swivel drape the liver over the shank of the hook , then attach to your snap swivel.

    Absolutely! There's no better way to fish with liver IMO. I simply cut slices of liver instead of chunks. Impale the end of it on one prong of the treble and wrap it around the shank of the hook and impale the other end on another prong. This craddles the liver a bit more than relying on it to hang on the hook.

    I use Mustad 3X strong #6 treble when fishing stink bait. If I start catching bigger channels or blues I use #4. These are excellent hooks. I get them from www.jannsnetcraft.com at $5.19 per 25. They have tinned finish for possible salt water use or rust prevention for fresh water use.
