Trebles are too hard to get out of their mouth IMO.:angry:
Wouldn't the carp be in better shape and therefore more lively without all the damage a treble hook does? Unless of course you are using the carp as cut bait. Just a thought. :big_smile:i use single hooks i cpr my catfish but i do use treble hooks to catch carp for bait thats the only time i ever use a treble
:0a27: with this post & I would like to add that the only other time that I would even use a Treble Hook is when I'm fishing with Ba$$ Lures. (Crankbaits).Yes it all depends on the bait your fishing and the fish that you are targeting. I would only use treble hooks with a punch or dip bait. All other, live or cut baits I would use a single hook. Or double single hooks.
