treated wood in bait tank

    i am wanting to make a frame from a treated 2x2 for a bait tank divider but was wondering if the chemical in the treated lumber would kill my bait??? thanks

    Well, you can burn it, throw the ashes in the cow pasture, and the cows eating the grass will die.
    Seen that happen. Took 5 cows to figure it out.

    i dont think i would use treated lumber, if the chemicals in the wood keeps termites ,bugs and whatever away from the wood i think it just might leech out into the water

    I would use PVC (tube) pipe instead of wood. Wood will still rot after a long while. PVC and some plastic screen that would make the best devider, And will last the longest being wet all of the time.

    seems to me that would be like putting LSD in a kiddie pool...:confused2:

    i agree with this! pvc and some screen / hardware cloth type material should work out pretty good for ya!!
