transducer problems

    i rolled over a stump and broke the transducer off, just below the mounting hole, anyone ever had any luck glueing one back together?

    never had one break. Depending on the break, it might be worth a try before you go buy a new one to try JB weld and maybe put a couple screws or roll pins through if possible.

    might not hold, but your not loosing anything by trying.

    i broke a skimmer transducer (lowrance & eagle) and had just enough material to drill a new hole to remount it. i never had any luck trying to epoxy them.

    This is the same problem that I just had with my transducer. I took the two parts and cleaned the broke side with 91% alcohol and then used JB Marine Weld to adhere them together. It feels rock solid again after everything has dried.
