There is never a convenient time to lose a close friend...much less right before Christmas. She was involved in a one car auto accident on the rural gravel road she lived on...on her way to pick up her mother, and do some last minute Christmas shopping at 10 am on Tuesday morning...Dec. 23. One mile from her mother and fathers house. There was ice on the road...and she lost control. Sadly she was not wearing a seat belt...and was ejected from her jeep...which rolled over several times. She bled to death on the Medflight helicopter ride to the hospital. She leaves behind a young son and a husband who are still both in shock...and deeply saddened. As all of us here are. Her brother has been one of my best friends and a constant fishing partner of mine since grade school...so this favor I ask means alot to me. I have been praying for her and her family with all my might...but I thought perhaps a few more prayers from a few more angles might not be a bad thing. Thank you in advance...and please 'yall...above everything else...drive safe if you must drive during the holidays...and make a permanent habit of buckling that seatbelt. Best wishes to everybody during Christmas and the New Year.
