toyota engines

    wow whats the deal with the engines with the rice burners?i think just about every toyota team had to change engines.Goes to show newer ant always better.

    Yeh, I caught the end of the conversation on tv saying alot had to change engines, didn't hear the explanation though???

    There was a problem with the coating on the valves coming off causing excessive wear and failure.

    Sad thing for the chevy ford dodge boy's once Toyota get's serious and spend's money on a engine ..They will rule the track...They only been in nascar for a few years and are doing good.........Am all chevy here but i'am not ignorant enough to belive the big 3 can still rule!!!!!!!!

    From what I have heard ( nascar radio on Sirius radio) its a ceramic coating on the lifters that is coming off and getting in the bearings and tearing them up, only thing is I here M.W.is not changing his engine out this time:confused2: think about the only TDI engine not changed
