We use the clip on color coded culling tags with the little dry erase board. Two things is see with the ardent's that I don't like are they only go to 15lbs and 15ozs. and you have to pierce them through the fish.

Yeah, I figured that may be a problem, perhaps I could switch out the stringer clips for a spring loaded jaw and clamp to the lower lip or something, also I thought about the "only goes to 16 lbs" but i gotta tell you, in these parts, seldom would I need 6 tags for fish bigger then 16 lbs!! Hell, Im lucky here on the Ohio to get 1-2 over that size and if they are bigger, it will be obvious, its always the 3-6 lbers I end up culling if I am lucky enough to get on them. Last night was a real problem, 13 fish from 3.4 bs up to 6.8 lbs, made it a real hastle to keep weighing and reweighing to figure out the 4 best fish which were 6.8, 6.0.6.0 and 5.8. Sure is hard to eyeball which ones to pull out and weigh when they are all so close.
Thanks for your input, I appreciate it!
