I'm having to clean and repair a bunch of different reels from a friend who runs a charter boat in the Gulf and see that I'm gonna need some extra tools.I would appreciate any feedback I can get.Ebay has some digital micrometers in the $10. range that measures inside and outside for getting bearing sizes, also I would like to find some good oil and grease in bulk. The small tubes get expensive. One last question whats a good cleaner to remove old grease in the reels? Sorry for the long post, just need some of your knowledge. Thanks Pap

I use BioTmax to degrease and alcohol to rinse.

As far as grease and oil small tubes are fine.
You can do alot of reels out of a small tube of grease.
    More grease is not better.
