Has anyone heard of making a 25 into a 30 by changing the carb. gasket?
My dealer says this all the time but I have not seen it .
    thanks

I can't answer your question but I would suggest that you listen to your dealer. Evaluate the cost verses the extra power. Do you need this? What is the benefit? What is the changeover cost? I hope this helps.

I would venture to say that ain't all there is to it. The 25 is proably a modified 20 or 18 and the thirty is all together different. Like jets in carbs and exhaust would have to be tuned. I haven't researched the parts but If a 25 was same as a 30 and all it was is a gasket then they wouldn't get to sell any thirties they would sell a lot of 25's and a lot of carb gaskets.
