    Sam I have a rule no green tomatoes for frying until we get a ripe tomato.
    It seams like it takes forever for that 1 st. tomato to get ripe. LOL

    We've picked a few banana peppers, jalapenos & a bell pepper....and one teeny little tomato. So now, maybe they'll all start making good!!

    Storm moved through here about 3 this afternoon, straight line winds of 70+ mph, lucky we had no damage to our houses, but a guy 1 mile south of me has a huge oak tree in the middle of his house. Lots of trees down and my garden is just about upside down. Corn is lay'n down and everything is point'n east. Came on the news that a train was blown off the tracks at Atkins ( about 40 miles west of here.

    I got my garden in late this year but Im getting close to having frying green maters ready!!! Cant wait, hard to beat fresh veggies from your own garden.
