Well, the boys and I went out today and we had some decent luck. Nothing big enough to fillet, but we all had a blast. Trey had a bluegill in his pic. He looked at me and said, "Dude. It's not even a fish. It's just bait!" We were both laughing hysterically at his "whopper." Nathan pulled in a bullhead after he said, "Look! I'm fishing for bluegill and I even caught a catfish!" He also today learned how to bait his own hook. It was a good day all around. In the pic of me, I reeled in the bullhead in my right hand and while landing him, got the hit from the channel in my left. I don't think I've pulled in a 2 species double before. Usually it's just two bulls. But it was a great day all around!! In total, we caught about 25 fish. 4 channel, 8 bullhead, and about a dozen (or more) bluegill.
