To Early For Hot Weather

    Looks as if this year is going to be a tuff year in Ind.. Was out Sunday and the birds are in full strut and chasing hens. The grass is 6" tall and the leaves are at full bloom. If this weather this weekend doesnt slow them down then we will be hunting in the blind. Is anyone else out there seeing this pattern?

    Here in northern N.Y. our temps are running below average, still getting down in the teens at night. Snow in the forcast for thur. and fri. I saw two toms yesterday out in the fields strutting, and all fanned up--go figure!!! Send us some of that warm weather Brother!!!!!---Pleeezzzeee!!!!!:lol:

    Yep the birds are hot on the tails of hens here in Arkansas and we still have a wile befire seson opens. Our Game and fish has done this 2 years in a row now they say trying to get the polulation up but it is the flood watters and the hogs that get the eggs in may!!!:angry:

    Yea Bill, looks like its probably gonna be "run & gun" ambush huntin this year if this cold snap we are supposed to get this week dont slow the Toms down. The way its lookin now, they will be henned up and locked down by the 25th of April.
