TN river steam plant Jan 27

    I went sunday to the steam plant to fish the boils didnt have any luck .Skipjacks were inthere pretty thick saw several people catching 2 everythrow.I fished there several hours didnt catch one Catfish.I did notice that there was bunch of the needle fish i think they are called or the mini gar as some people call them.I read someone posted on here and twra said they wernt gonna be a problem but these things are showing up in some numbers.Does anyone know if these things can eat the small catfish hatchlings

    Well I snagged a bag full of them and they are going to be cubed up for bait next time I hit the river. I'll let everyone know how they work.

    They are at the cumberland steam plant also, I believe they are called atlantic needle fish.
