Had a good day on the Tennessee River in Chattanooga, the Scenic City, today (4/14). Fishing with Bryan Harger and his son Landon from Mississippi. We caught about 20 blues and channels, averaging about 5 lbs. apiece... but Bryan tagged one blue that was pushing the 30-pound mark. Photos attached.

Richard: Is that fish gripper the cabela's brand. If so how does it work ? I have been looking at the boga grips and I am having a time believing they are worth all that money.

    I forget, nice catch

Yes, Cabela's brand, and they are absolutely GREAT! They're the 50 lb. scale set and when I bought mine they were on sale for $24.99... they're asking $49.99 now (still worth it). HOWEVER, I believe they're having a sale on the 15 lb. versions... they're only $14.99 right now.

Chickamauga Tailwaters... some near boils (generators) others downstream a few miles in various "holes."
