Okay I've been pondering for some time now and can't seemed to make up my mind. I've got my eye on the Tite-lok rod holder track mounting system and the Monster rod holder rack. I've heard nothing but good reviews on here about both but Monster seems to be taking over as no one has posted in the Tite-lok forum in almost a year or said anything else about them. I actually like them both and almost made a phone call and email still saved to draft to Tite-Lok about their track system setup but thought about Monster rack again and that seems like it may fit my Tracker Pro Guide V-16 rail better. I only have about 3 1/2 in wide rails to mount them on. Do any of you guys who have either setup or know more about them have any advice? I'm ready to finish my setup and finally post pics but I'm torn between the two.

I too was gonna order Tite-loks until I found about the monsters. I have 14 monsters so I dont want to seem biased, but they are a great product, the last holder I will buy. If you pm steve he offers more mounts than are posted on his site, trust me I have square rails on my deck boat and they arent posted on his site but he sent them to me lol. Just talk to him and see what he has to offer and contact tite-lok and see what she has to offer and go with the best deal and support that you find. Good luck bro

Both of them will serve your needs well, I have used the TL holders before but for me it has to be MRH all the way. I love knowing my rod and reel is safe when its in the holder. No need to worry about it going over in the drink, plus the price is right on the MRH too. Give Steve a call he will get you what you need.

I have not used the tite lok rail system , it is a good looking setup.I like most use the monster rod holders with the dual angle.I prefer the beefier setup and confidence knowing they will hold anything when the time comes , I also like the easy removal when a fish gets hooked up.I just wish Steve had his rack system before I made mine.It is a very neat package and more economical than the tite-lok.Give Steve a call he will fix you up and you will be pleased.

I will never buy anything but Monster Rod Holders and recommend them to everyone . They are great !! The rod butt has never hung on me in the Monster like it has in other rod holders . The Monster is one of the toughest if not they toughest rod holder on the market . The price is right and the product holds up big fish plus they just look awesome . Everyone who see's them on my boat always ask's where they can get them at .

I messed up last weekend and pulled the boat to close to the bait shop . I almost didnt make it out of there due to guys asking me about them and playing 20 questions . They wanted to buy mine right off the boat I told them mine had good mojo and would cost more then if they was to order them them selves....lol . I could have sold a case of them to them guys right out of the parking lot .

I am not going to knock any other rod holder out there even though some are a joke , but I have owned quite a few different rod holders and MRH are the best I have ever used and can not say enough great things about them .

What it comes down to is what will make you happy and look good on your boat .

I have absolutely nothing agianst Tite-loc. Seems like a well built product. I went with the Monsters simply because of how I fish and the price played into it also. Recently added Steve's Monster rack and very well pleased with it. For my boat, I think the Monster rack was better suited.

In the end it came down to personal preference and knowing if I ever have a problem Steve will stand behind the Monsters and is easy to get ahold of.
