Tips for storing anchor rope?

    i have a boat about like yours and the kutter's. i have been experimenting with my anchor rope lately, but havent found any real winners. try a small reel like the ones that come with extension cord. keep me posted plz.

    I had this same question a while back. What I ended up doing is using a milk crate, and just coiling the rope in and lying the anchor on the top. I used a small piece of aluminum angle pop riveted to the floor to trap it up against the front wall of the boat, works pretty good.

    I like those milk crates too and take 3 of them secured together with a pin under them ( similar to what the seats use) and just sticks in front deck pedestal hole. 5 gal buckets fits tight inside crate for rope with anchor on top.
    I forgo drilling hole in bucket cause buckets are handy for other purposes at times.

    The crates can be arranged in many ways lengthwise, triangle,...etc
    Fast,cheap and works for me at this point
