Next weekend a couple buddies of mine and I are gonna go try shelbyville. I know the lake is high but We are gonna try it anyway. Has anyone been catching anything? Any tips would help.

With the way the water level has been I would have to say that dynamite would be my bait of choice right now :smile2:.

The lake has grown soooooo much with the water level being so high. You'll be amazed when you see it. With all this new water covering once dry land it sounds like it is proving to be very difficult to find fish. If I had to catch fish I would probably consider fishing the spillway below the damn in shelbyville. It seems like there is always a good conentration of fish there and you just never know what you're going to get into.

Utilize the locals. Stop and talk to anyone that you see pulling a boat. That could be your best chance of catching anything. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
