Went this morning fished from daylight until about 10:30. Caught 5 blues, the biggest two were 29 and 35 pounds , the rest were less than 10. Got a few gizzard shad in the boat ramp cove and caught a few white perch for bait. The water temp is still around 60. There was a little current until about 9:15. I was anchored in 35 ft.

How far north is the tillery? I live close to greenville SC in the little town of Pickens. I want to get on some of those big blues!

It's 80 miles from Fayetteville to Ramp on 73 at Lake Tillery if that gives you an idea. Takes me little over 2 hours.

Hey SC Hartwell, I think Lake Monticello would be much closer for you. It has bigger blues than Tillery. Monticello is north of Columbia.
