I have linoleum on the bathroom floor. I want to replace it with tile. I am worried about getting a good seal when the commode is raised up 3/8".
Someone told me to use two seals. I really don't trust that.
    Any suggestions?

Hoot they make a spacer just for that kind of thing. I think Home Depot or Lowe's has them. It is a round PVC spacer with a rubber gasket to seal between the flange and spacer.

They make a larger bees wax seal just for those situations. Just went through that a few months ago. Got mine at lowes. Insalled backer board and tile of vinyl flooring. The double wax ring and spacer work also. Make sure to use new toilet bolts on the flange. Never use the old ones.
