If anybody fishes tidal areas for catfish and you can get crab oil prefering shedder crab oil heres a secret bait that should up your catch. Start out with a couple pounds of chicken breast slice into strips takethe oil marinate the chicken breast in refrigerator till ready to go fishing great bait have caught many big channels on it. It is also a great bait for fluke, flounder, weakfish and stripers good luck

have you tried "Fish-Bites" in clam and crab flavors there are more flavors and I can vouch for all of them that I have used a great bait in saltwater and brackish. Have not tried them in freshwater though.

Clam snouts can be a great bait in tidal affected rivers.
