We're going to Big Sandy on Ky. Lake tomorrow if the wind don't get too bad. My son is taking his boat and a friend and I'm taking the dog in mine. Maybe between all of us, we will have enough for a meal.

My son went this morning. I saw what the wind was going to do and decided to pass. He went to Mansard Island Resort and they wouldn't let him put his boat in there. They said the ramp was closed until March and the only people that could launch were those who bought a $50 yearly pass. Then he went to Buchannan Resort and they told him the ramp was closed there until March. He finally went to Paris Landing and I talked to him on the phone a few minutes ago. He said the wind was so bad, they couldn't fish where they wanted to and were not catching anything.

My wife & I foshed there last July: caught some nice crappie on jigs/minnas in/around cover. But there's also some nice cats around there too - blues & channels.
