Tired of seeing people keep the little ones! I want to catch them later on.So I thought i'de say something about the crappies here at lake manawa of council bluffs. I cant see people keeping a bucket full of crappies that are only 6 to 9 inchs, why not throw them back and let them get bigger and for how many people fish manawa maybe we will Have crappies to catch later on! With that said THROW THEM BACK!!!! THROW THEM BACK!!!! THROW THEM BACK!!!!

Check with your states fishery biologists. It may well be that body of water is overstocked with crappie (frequent occurrence) and there is just not many in the lake larger than that size. The introduced saugeye in Oklahoma lakes to thin the crappie population out. Sad to say, I haven't seen it work in the last 8 years. LOL
