Throttle adjustment

    HEY FELLOWS I HAVE A NEW CENTER CONSOLE W/90 YAMAHA.THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING IS IF I LET GO OF THE THROTTLE IT SLOWLY BACKS OFF.SO UNLESS I HAVE IT FULL THROTTLE I HAVE TO KEEP ONE HAND ON THE WHEEL AND ONE ON THE THROTTLE.ALSO THE THROTTLE IS VERY SENSITIVE.ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.THANK'S IN ADVANCE.

    there should be a knob or screw on your control box that you can tighten to give it some tension.

    That is called a friction adjustment. If it is brand new then haul it back to the dealer or call him to see if this will void your warrenty in any way.

    THANK'S FOR THE INFO GUY'S.I'VE NEVER HAD TO MESS WITH NOTHING LIKE THIS SO I DIDN'T WANT TO SCREW NOTHING UP THAT I CAN'T AFFORD TO FIX,OR WOULD BECOME UNSAFE.
