Threadfin supply dwindling at Wateree Dam

    It seems the threadfins are disappearing at the dam, last weekend shad was hard to come by, now today they were even more elusive. Tossed the net for a half hour with the water not running and not a shad to be found. and later came back when the water was and had a little more success, but after 45 minutes of throwing the net up and down the river, we were only able to capture 5 threadfin and 1 good size gizzard shad. Looks like fishing for cats tonight could be held pretty short. :angry:

    Anyone one have theories on why they disappeared or where they went? My only thought would be the masses of striper running through there the last few weeks.
