    Word!

We get our biggest flatheads during and after rains.

I agree. If rain is coming, I am going to the river.

I made a bad mistake and worked on my house tonight and I know the river near me got crazy, or at least I think it should have. I live 20 minutes from it and I did not get rain, but where the river is, they had a ton of rain and flooding on the streets.

    My mistake, oh well.

I am a big fan of fishing during the rain. It also seems to be pretty good after a big storm but in the storm is better!! Also when the rain brings the water level up a good bit fishing for carp at the mouth of a creek is great too.

Fishing in the river is good when it is flowing and muddy but where it enters the lake the best fishing is on the clear side of the muddy water.

i love high and muddy. instead of fishing the lake or rivers i find the little creeks that feed into it. you can catch a mess of fish in a hurry throwing forage foods (live/cut bait, or night crawlers) into these areas.

We could use a lot of rain!! I miss the water being fast. If this keeps up were all going to be fishing puddles.

I have a couple slack water spots on my river that fill up with shad and cats during high flood waters, best to catch it when it's on the rise.
