I caught this bass a cpl of months ago. Caught him in a 3 acre pond. It weighed 13.5 pounds. Only about 5 away from state record. Its in the taxidermy right now. Cant wait to get him back. Oh yea how do you sex a bass? I dont know if it was a male or female.

I've tried before, but it's pretty hard to get them to hold still:wink:

On a more serious note, if you take a small blunt object like say the dull end of a pin/needle and run it across the vent you can tell. I believe it will catch twice on females and once on males. I'm pretty disappointed in my self that I can't remember which is which.

Great Fish!!! That more than doubles my PB. Do you know if it was a Florida or Northern bass. If it's a northern than $#&@ that's a big bass.

I think CPR would have been best for a bass that big, but I'm not gonna get into it.

Daniel congrats on a great catch. I believe in CPR but I have to admit that I would have mounted that bass also. It will look good on your wall. Nice looking home in the background of the pics. Thanks for sharing.
