This makes me homesick for west Texas

    Here are some pictures of dust storm that rolled through Brownfield, TX last
    Thursday afternoon. There were over 50 wrecks within 28
    miles of highway to Brownfield.

    I grew up near Lubbock, have seen many like it or worse. When the chickens go to roost at 3 PM it's getting dark. Even saw a few at Odessa but they were not that bad.

    My wife and I had to live in Abilene years ago,one of those job related things.During that time we saw one of those stroms come through,it was amazing.Thanks for the flashback Dayton,I had forgotten about that..

    Those are wild Dayton, last time I seen something like that was in the movie Mummy. I have never seen one of those in real life.

    Holy cow! What a sight those storms are. Can't imagine what it would be like to have something like that blow through.

    I don't miss those a bit I stayed at my uncle's place in Tarzen, Texas for two years helping out after he had a stroke. The chickens, cows, dogs, cats and everthing else would let you know they were coming but you are never ready when they get there.
