I use Weather Underground, Accuweather, NOAA, the USGS for rivers, and a few others, depending on what I want to know. Accuweather has the best daily wind speed/direction forecasts. But, many days, I just stick my head out the door and a wet finger in the air to tell the weather.

I like NOAA's website quite a bit. The one thing they give that I have a hard time finding elsewhere (even on local news websites) are wind speed, wind direction and approximately when the wind changes direction.
    This can be useful information.

I still go fishin when i can, it's just nice havin the info available

I've got the free Weatherbug on my system tray. Click on it and you've got the temp for your area, a compass showing the wind direction and speed. Plus you can get the forecast, radar, etc.
