    George,
Tells you the weight, age, length and girth. Only one feature I don't like; some days it only shows fish that are not hungry.
Yes, I have been known to attend services at the Church of the Sonar Gospel with reverend Eric.
This was a legit buy though, my old sonar died and they wanted half of what it was worth to fix it...W

    Doug,
Not sure how to take that, either you want photographic proof we actually caught something or you just like looking at pictures of fish:wink:
Soon as I get them out of the Mrs' camera I'll put them on...W

Thats cool. Now all ya gotta do is spend the next 2 years or so learnin and readin the manual. LOL! Ain't it the truth with repair costs. So many things have become disposeable items any more. Have fun with it and knock em dead.

Does the color on the arches determine what kind of fish?

Wish it did Walt but alas no. The color gives an indication of the strength of the return signal with red being the strongest. If you see that big old arch in yellow with red in the middle if its a fish, it's decent one. ' course, it could be a log floating just off the bottom or a small submarine. Doc Lange and DH both have their own way of interpreting the returns to confirm if they are cats or not and each has explained it to me but I have never quite got the hang of either way...W

Winston if my fish finder light up like that I would become a permanent part of that section of river until I was sick of looking at catfish...lol
Quick question did you the sensitivity turned up pretty high on that thing or was there truly that much bait around aswell. No doubt about the fish on bottom but there seemed like an awfull lot of small bait fish swimming in all depths. I have never seen a ff lite up like that

    Jason,
The sensitivity was at about 80% which is where I normally run it.
There was tons of bait everywhere but also a lot of debris. I chose to have the noise reduction on "Medium" to get some of the clutter off the screen and keep the sensitivity up so I could separate fish that were on or near the bottom. I usually run it in the low or off position with none of the blue bits to be seen..W
