I live in central Illinois. I want to go out saturday march 16th. The weather has been nice mid 60deg.range Its supposed to be nice all week. High 50s for the lowest high this week. Do you think this warm weather will push them out of their winering spots to feed? I need to get out and scout. The water is high though. But it is dropping quick cause they slowed the spillway down almost to a complete stop.

It matters less about the air temp and more what the water temp is. But hey dont let that stop you its been a long winter and I'm sure some time on the river catching nothing is still better than being at home.

I'm not gonna bother with flatheads until April.

    Good luck though!
