I've got to fill up the time before hittin' the cats at night. So a little Largemouth action fills the bill. This late afternoon I took a little trip to a local pond looking to get in that old bassin' rhythm again. It's been a long time since I went "big mouthin' " and I didn't do to shabby. I was mostly throwing a white spinner bait. Hooked into many 14's , a few 15's , a 16 and a 17 1/2 incher to top it off for the evening. No hawgs but enough to get the juices flowing again. I saw some nice bluegills hanging out in the rocks, along with some big carp that look to need arrowed at another time. Here's a pic of the big one of the night. Not as big as those southern bass, but these Husker bass are strong fighters none the less..
