Ladies and Gentlemen, the wait is over. The future of our sport has arrived. Now all she has to do is grow up. Its been a long week. On Sunday, my wife and I had a 10 am stress test appointment at the local hospital since my daughter was due on May 1st and was late. My mother in law & grandmom were with because we were going to do lunch after the test was over. Well the mrs. Blood pressure was up so the doctor didnt see any reason to continue the pregnancy instead of inducing labor, so we couldnt leave. At 3 pm they had to put in a foley catheder to force her to start dialating since she was locked up like fort knox. Then once she got dialated enough for the balloon to fall out (at 3 cm.) then they administered the drugs to continue the induction. Well she was in labor for 24 hrs and only got to 6 cm. now things got interesting not. My daughter was to big. Her head was hitting the pelvic bone and causing inflammation and making the cervix close up. So they did a c-section. At 4:18pm on Monday, May 7th. Cassandra Ann was born. She was 22 inches long and 8 lbs 5.7 oz at birth. Sorry I havent been around but we just came back from the hospital today at 1pm. We are all tired but knock on wood, shes not a fussy baby ..yet.
