    Check out eelpout festival/ Walker MN on google. It is really a fun time for some really nasty fish!

    #9 is an angler fish, you can see the rod laying on his forehead. Yeah they're ugly.

    Looking over this list, I expected to see one beast, but I guess it didn't make the cut. It's actually a fish we pack as a bait for the off-shore kingfish guys:

    Ribbonfish aka cutlassfish aka hairtail aka silver eel

    Typically ranges from 12 inches to 40 inches or more, and have teeth that can rip your fingers apart if mishandled DEAD, much less alive. Read an article recently where the writer said it best: if-they-grew-to-the-size-of-a-man-nobody-would-swim-in-the-ocean-anymore.

    Take a look a the pic. Interesting point is that when our Ribbonfish are caught by hook-n-line for packing, they will occasionally pull in a half-eaten, flailing Ribbonfish. This is because they are known to frenzy on their fallen comrades even as they are helplessly being reeled in.

    THAT fits the list.

    Some of those fish can make a good argument supporting the idea of extra terrestrial life being here on earth!:crazy:

    3. Blob Fish or Blob Sculpin on the list almost looks human, I think I've seen that guy before:wink::smile2:.


    Then you read on down and read about the farm raised fish in the sea, It'll make you wonder the next time you go to Long John Silvers to eat:eek:oooh:.

    good thing there not in the ky river. just be 10 more species fishermen would toss on the bank.


    looks like some have had a dose of good ol man made nucular waste. #9 looks like that i would have to say beceuse he is a deep water fish that never sees the sun and is void of color.????
