I don't believe an abled bodied hunter should use them during bow season, but I whole heartedly believe a disabled archer should be able to use them during that season.

This poll is taking out disabled hunters assuming that there arnt any. Dont take it literally its only for the polls sake that is it. I was told the other poll was confusing so this one is not its simply yes or no.

I dont see how the other poll was confusing? It seems like it was a fairly even split to me. The way you keep narrowing down this poll it seems like your going to keep trying to make a poll until it steer into your direction. Maybe im wrong.

But if I could use a bow. I would rather shoot my Golden Eagle then my cross bow..

Quite honestly, the other poll wasn't split 50/50. It was split 50/35/12.5/7.5. Only 3 out of 40 voted that crossbows should not ever be allowed. The way I understand it, one of the 3 votes was an accident. Now, 2 out of 40 is 5%. 3 out of 40 is seven and a half percent. Hmmmmmmmmmm. 50%.....HALF of those voting, said that they felt that crossbows should be allowed during the bow season. Statistically, that's a significant majority.

Are we beating a dead horse here?

I kind of agree with Jon, there was nothing confusing about the previous poll. I don't think that the results were what some expected though. Maybe if the question is asked again tomorrow or phrased a different way, I'll change my vote. Maybe..... Maybe enough people will get tired of beating the horse and agree to disagree. Maybe even some people will see that the majority of people don't see it the same way they do. Maybe.

I haven't voted yet but I am in favor of allowing crossbows during any legal open season on deer.

I pretty sure that what the confusion was about people were voting more than one time that was the problem with the other poll. Now with that said It wouldnt matter to me if it came out of 100 voter 99 yes and 1 no my opinion would still be the same...... The poll was changed to clear up that problem. Im not going to argue about it and really only wanted to do the poll to see how everyone thought. Also it was put to me that some people voted that had never made a post before and havent since so that is why i asked to have you state what your vote was..... Im not accusing anyone of not being fair or rigging the vote in there own favor. Im going to ask the same question that was asked of me WHat are you guys afraid. There isnt a winner in all of this only a understanding thats all im looking for. I didnt find the poll confussing I found it just right as Im the one that made the poll. If you voted last time then vote again and the figuers should come out to be 100% this time as there is only two questions and you can only vote one way or the other not multiple ways.

I gave this one a "yes". I am not much of a bow hunter but I do enjoy shooting a bow and I also enjoy shooting crossbows. Not much difference between a crossbow bolt and an arrow in my humble opinion, but I can definately see that there is a lot more skill involved and a larger margin for error when shooting a bow versus a crossbow.

Maybe I would see it differently if I was an avid bowhunter but I am not and I don't. Its really not that important an issue for me, but I don't understand why you are so against it Staff Sergeant, besides maybe the skill aspect. I haven't read the other threads floating around here about this yet, but I would be interested on your take. Seems like maybe you scared everybody else off, lol.

Chuck you Brother, are just that. LOL. No I don't feel that able bodied person should be allowed to hunt with a cross bow during bow season. Only handicap and elderly. Sorry did not see other poll so I have no thoghts on that one.

i voted that they should not be legal during bow season. I feel that any weapon that can be held back including draw locks should no tbe legal during bow season. If you wanna use it any other time all the power to ya.
