Went out on my B-Day friday night was really slow and as I was getting ready to leave one of my poles started dancing, BAM set the hook reel em in, and the line breaks! After a few choice words, my other pole is jumping like mad, BAM set the hook reel em in nice 3-4 lb channel with my other hook stuck in his mouth! Gave him to my wifes grandfather. Oh I caught a softshelled turtle too

    Aaron,

Glad you got out of the losing streak. And, hope you get many more in the next few months.

I'm not over mine yet. But, have only been catfishing twice since I got my boat a couple of weeks back. And, am mainly trying to learn the depth finder and the lake that I am fishing, rather than strictly fishing. Got to find them before you can catch them

I think that it was my line, there are alot of snags in the area and I forgot my flashlight so I couldn't really see the line and didn't think too much about it I was getting ready to leave when he took the bait anyhow it was 8 lb cajun advantage.

Well the Navy guys on watch have been catching some small sharks and stingrays. But they've been catching them at night.
