I just bought this item called The Launcher for $1.99 its says for long distance casting float, designed to launch lightweight lures and baits to maximum casting range...50-75-100yds.possible!

anybody use this thingy? is it good for Bass fishing? or what type of fish?
How do I use this? Thanks

Well, it catches fishermen. It cheap, so not too big of a loss if it doesn't work.

I have one rod with reel that a spring is in the rod. There is a plastic cup that holds the lure and is seated on the rod. Push the button and it flies out. The line goes through the cup. About 25 yards is the most I've got out of it.

Looks to me like it's just a float with a weight attached to the bottom. Don't think it will improve your casting range anymore than a similar weighted rig of your own making.

It looks like a white bass agitator, except that those have an eye on each end.
