    I agree when ever I can get on the water, and when it is warmer out! This trying to fish when it is cold out, sucks very few bites if any and you freeze out there all day :crazy:

    I dont think you are fishing in the right spots, I went fishing last Friday the fish were biteing good I caught 23 fish in all and the bites were awsome. The temp was 13 degrees that morning and I think i warmed up to a nice 32 degrees by afternoon. :smile2:

    i go when ever i can and the shad aint hiding from me anytime cold hot raining makes no diffrence to me as long as i am there with a wet line! but my idea of perfect fishing weather is between high 60's - 70's consistantly with light breeze so i guess it would be late spring
