Does anyone here love the History and science channels? I watch almost all the time and the Wife hates it. Just curious if I'm alone on this one! (wouldn't surprise if I am)

I enjoy some shows on both. But both also produce some that are as boring as hell. Though, even those are not as boring as watching poker on television. Watching grass grow is more entertaining. You wife just gets PO'd because she wants to watch HGTV.

History, Learning, Travel, Discovery and FoxNews are about the only channels with commercials that I watch.

I absolutely love the Military Channel. It drives the girlfriend nuts to hear about WW II for four consecutive hours, but I love the history. Speaking of which, I'm about 1/3 of the way through Knights Cross a book about General Rommel. Anything you see on those channels do not do justice to this man. If you love WW II books or history, please read this book.

I watch the History and the Military channels. My wife hates them. It drives her insane when I leave it on a show about Vietnam or something and the remote control conveniently gets lost..LOL!! She can't change the channel from the directv receiver:wink:

My son loves the History Channel. Since I don't watch TV too often, that's the only time I see it, but I do enjoy it, too. NG channel too.
