    Last Week got out to do alittle channel cattin here at alum with some fellow members had no luck with the cats but managed to catch 3 nasty mud puppies! LOL!

    ive caught those out of the hocking river before and also caught an eel out of it too caught an eel out of the muskingum also but that was years ago

    We call those water dogs. I have caught big ones on a trotline and
    they would swallowed the hook and the drop all the way to the main
    line. I had a stationary line I fished for two years but I only caught
    water dogs in the winter and early spring. I don't know where they
    spend the rest of the year.

    I have always heard that they eat fish eggs. That you could flip one where
    a big bass was on the bed and she would hit it when she would not even look
    at anything else.

    i haven't seen one in a long time.guy that lived across from us used to buy them for bait when they used to be sold.he had caught a lot of nice cats on them.

    To clarify this whole thing....KIP is the puppy guide. SKIP is the CARP guide. MATT is the Puppy master. And i just guide my lines into barren water!
