i have.if ur fishin from boat i suggest martinez lake north of the imperial dam or take ur boat up to picacho state park suppose 2 be some good flats there. if not try below imperial dam but make sure u take some heavy weights. those r the places im familiar with. there r some big channels in the co. try cut bait or live gills. u can fish anywhere on the river unless posted not to.

pm snagged2 thats all he talks about .
Yea, Herb, I try and fish it as often as possible..
This time of year the water levels will start dropping..
I fished all last winter in the waters around Blythe,, and, caught fish..Flats, channels,, etc.
Be cautious in a boat if you're using one..
You can use the same tackle, as most anywhere, but, may want some heavy weights...
I sure enjoy the dynamics of the River and surrounding waters,,
told ya !
I fish there quite allot about 5 miles down river from Laughlin there is a nice hole. I have caught stripper that went from my belt to the ground and a 19lb channel cat, never any huge flats but the water may be a little cold for them not really sure.
