Here's where Kansas riparian law comes into play. The landowners on
either side of the river or creek owns the creek or river to the center
of the stream unless it is a shipping channel river which are defined
as the Kansas or Kaw River or the Arkansas River. Confused? So is
everyone else. Fish at Rocky Ford but the rest requires permission
technically along the Big Blue. You are okay near the public boat
ramp on Hwy 24 down to where it flows into the Kansas River, too.

Last year I did real well above rocky ford. That is primarily where I go fish. If you are fishing from the bank I would suggest that you go into the park and fish the point where the pond and the blue converge at. The depth ranges from 3ft to 19ft straight out off the point, it is a rocky bottom out about thirty ft from the bank so just keep your rod tip up and you won't have any prob.
