    The Wolf Fish
Munching armoured prey, such as urchins, crabs and whelks, is tough work for wolf-fish gnashers. However, a new set grows up from behind each year to replace the worn ones. Powerful grinding teeth at the side of the jaws are supplemented by fangs at the front, and strong cheek muscles are essential when it comes to the crunch.

They're even more pretty in person ;)The aquarium at the Henery Doorly Zoo in Omaha used to have one, but the last couple times I was there I didn't see it, so I'm not sure if they have it anymore. By the way if you're ever in Omaha, this zoo is one of the best in the country.

Best cooking: Wolffish is perhaps best cooked whole, lightly flour-dredged and sautéed. It can also be broiled, roasted, or grilled (use a grill basket). Fillets are delicious pan-fried.
