Had Leland at Cherokee Rod Co. make me up a full custom for my heavy flattin.Goin to be using it for 10-16 oz + large bait.Started out with a seeker 8 ft XH Jig and Heavy Live Bait composite blank,American Tackle black and blue machined aluminum reel seat,paracord grips to match the rod,10 heavy duty stainless boat eyes,Stuart roller tiptop,all threadwork to match the reel i,m puttin on-blue AvetLX.I couldn,t have asked for better workmanship.I love the threadwork.If anyones lookin for some custom work,you,ll be hard pressed to find a nicer guy to work with!Now I just gotta find a flattie big enough to give it a good workout.

This rod for Pat was a very good build, any of you guy's looking for an American made quality E-glass rod should give the Seekers a try.
