When I was doing alot of Ba$$ Fishing, I got the set also :embarassed: . Only one lure work for me at the time (the frog), & it only work one time  !

That was about four years ago, and I bet it hasn't change today.

    So:

"Don't even waste your money"!

    Take it easy,

I have heard those "banjos" are good for catching suckers. I don't know how they are for fish.

the frogs were great, but with the corkscrew system you losted them quick. caught maybe one bass with the minnows. never tried them on catfish but i bet its possible

I also bought them a few years back and have never caught anything on them, it would be cheaper to go to wal mart and buy some basic bait you cuold probably get for the shipping and handling on the banjo minnows.

I absolutely ripped the bass on them in a couple of farm ponds, I really liked them. You just have to play around with your twitching and retrieve till you find out what triggers the bass. Follow the directions "let it die" and fish it super slow, with erratic life like twitches and it does exactly what the commercials say it will do.

I have used the banjo minnow on my friends pond. I usually catch around 20 bass each time. They work but they dont seem to catch the bigger ones. He has a ton of channel catfish in his pond, but I have never hooked up with any on the banjo minnow.

I agree, they work great on bass, once you figure out the correct retrieve.

they carry em here at dick's by my house....i've used one before but that corkscrew jig head system sucks real bad....if you get a hard hit you lose the fish and your minnow....dont waste your time
