Went fishing tonight and all I caught was a 1 lb. gill. On a treble hook and a pound of liver. He replaced the Rustys shad that aint worth the package it is in. However, I did learn a valuble lesson...get a cast net. I know how to use one just havent had one in a while. I also learned that at the city lake with all the lights around the moskiters will tote you away...Had fun none the less.

A one pound gill is not bait, that's part of dinner. A gill that size is like catching a 3 pound cat or bass to me. Lots of fun. Tie the gill tail to tail to the cat or bass and see which one gets drug the farthest. No, go back out to that lake with some crickets or meal worms and catch some more of those suckers, great eating.
