That Reminds Me - bank Rod Holder Mod

    Here's what I made up last year and the improvement with some old holders from my boat. I figure to anchor the tripod with a couple tent stakes to keep it solidy in place.

    Not a bad idea, but do you think a couple of tent stakes will hold if a big fish starts pulling on it? I'd test it first, and probably use my clickers. It would save from having to drive in a normal bank rod holder in the ground.

    I have an old telescope tripod that I might just have to do the same thing with.

    My reels I'd use this for have clickers and I'd more than likely use them. I think that stakes would hold real well. I am going to test it first but need to pick up a few stakes first. The ones I have in the camper are pretty bent up. If this works, it will be breat because the rods are off the ground and in easy reach from my lazy butt chair position.
