Despite higher energy cost the Farm Bureau says this year cost to feed Thanksgiving dinner to an Arkansas family of 10 is $30.80. That includes a 16# turkey, all the extras like milk, stuffing, pumpkin pies, 3# sweet tators, etc., etc. It's down from last year's price of $32., They also do an national survey every year. For 1986 the average was $28.74.

Wife said she didn't know where they bought groceries or how much they eat. Says our dinner would cost more... they used 3# of sweet tators for 10 people. Last week she fixed 3# of sweet tators and we ate them all in two meals!

A Big and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! :)
