still not real keen on this function, but i use it. i would rather give reps. most reps i give don't have comment, but thanks doesn't give you that option at all.

now to the reason for this post...do you thank someone to try to catch up because you have been thanked unmercifully? sometimes i do.

sometimes i post a thanks just because there are folks that i admire/appreciate/relate to, that have thanked that post.

regardless, thank you all for thaking me! if i ever run for office i know i can count on your vote!:smile2:

theres another . anyone on my friends list i usually thank just for speaking. and every post i agree with or offers a great thought, idea, just makes sence, offeres good argument, ect gets one. sometimes i thank so many in a tread ill just thank them all. i was raised to say thanks. at least if im not angry, lol. but even then sometimes.:cool2:

i was gonna rep you for that, but for some reason i am out:eek:oooh::wink::smile2:

and i ain't fishing, Master Paul.....i am fortunate that so many of the BOC are poor ignorant folks that they have put me in the top 10 in reps:roll_eyes:

i thank most when i am out of reps...if i rep and thank your post, then you know you need to REALLY evaluate your point of view:smile2:

I really have no idea how the thanks and reps operate. I just post a reply or a question and let the chips fly. I have thanked a few times for a post well written and informative or a joke that tickled my funny bone.:eek:oooh:

reps. there intended for good posts and jokes that tickle ya funny, someone catching a big fish. ect,....

there tossed out like candy at a parade now by some. me sometimes too.

to use them theres the star on the right side of the post in the top corner.

if its clicked on then it will say i approve or for BAD reps "like if phil strips" lol. click on i disapprove. and in the box you can leave a comment like good post. or in the other case put them back on phil.:0a5: the comment is optional.

approve for good reps =++++adding points
    disapprove for bad reps=----minus points

Well, Phil, considering that you know that there are fifty states here in these United States (not 57), and I expect you know that more than one bomb was dropped on Pearl Harbor...

Yep, Brother, you got my vote! :cool2:

:0010: VOTE PHIL WASHBURN FOR PRESIDENT! :0010:

    NEWS RELEASE...

Phil Washburn's political aspirations were cut short when left-leaning Media Matters obtained and released a picture of Mr. Washburn lying naked on his couch.

This picture is destined for a front-page spread in the next issue of The National Enquirer. Their on-the-spot reporters will also be investigating an alleged connection between PW and BG. The public demands to know exactly why these two have expressed the desire to appear unclothed in their avatars: deep-seated exhibitionism maybe?

Due to the disturbingly graphic nature of this photograph, there is little doubt that Mr. Washburn's chances of winning any election is nil. This is truly a shame, being that Mr. Washburn so closely approximates the Great Ronald Reagan in so many ways; but a nekkid Ronald Reagan, no, Phil Washburn, is more excruciatingly painful than any of us can imagine.

Being that Mr. Washburn's reputation has been dropping negatively so rapidly, it may be necessary for the BOC administration to meet to determine whether or not negative reputation scores be allowed and reported. Perhaps an "Enemies" list may need to be added to accompany the so-called "Friends" list as well.

Too bad, Mr. Washburn, you certainly would have had my vote. I suppose I'll just have to make my choice between "CHANGE" and "OLD."

Try again in 2012, Phil...we all will have forgotten by then!

Since becoming a member of the BOC I have found a site that is full of so many good people with so much experience and expertise not only in the world of catfishing but in other areas such as hunting and boating as well as others,,, so every post I read I get something or learn something from it. So I tend to thank folks quite a bit in here as well as rep them. THANK YOU to everyone for your years of experience on the water and life!!!!

I agree and do the same. I was raised that way. If someone takes the time to write, then they should be thanked.
